BLOG RULES

1.     If you happen to know me in real life, please do not use my name, Hungry Husband’s name, or our actual geographic location in your comments.  But you can use your own real name if you like, unless (like me) you are moderately paranoid about internet stalkers and government surveillance programs, in which case you can feel free to create your own virtual identity.

2.     I moderate all comments, so be patient if it takes a day or two for me to get around to approving and replying to your comment.  I reserve the right to not publish your comment if I find it inappropriate.

3.     If you find something you like, feel free to share it with your friends.  If you have a blog of your own, you can use my photos, copy my recipes, take my life stories and rewrite them as your own…I’m generous.  But do please give citations when it is appropriate, especially if you’re using something that I have taken from someone else.

4.     Ask questions!  Although there is plenty of “fair and balanced” media out there telling us about the Middle East, I hope this blog will be a place where I can provide some on-the-street information about real life and real people here.
